Allen-Bradley 1746-HT is a termination panel. The panel comes with a 292 mm (11.25 in.) height and a 70 mm (2.75 in.) width. The panel provides flexibility to the SLC servo control system. The 1746-HT panel features an E-stop connection for the E-stop ring. Fast I/O connection for the three inputs, one output, and the LED show the status for each I/O point. When there is an encoder, there should be encoder feedback for one axis. All drive connections are directed to the analog drive. The 1746-HT panel provides external connections for +5, +15, and +24 V power from the power supply. The panel is mounted on the DIN rail and it can be mounted up to 2.1 m (7 ft) from the motion control module with just a screwdriver and a wire stripper.



The 1746-HT termination panel consists of a drive within a drive, Drive Return, and a Shield. The Panel’s encoder has Channel A Hi/Low, an AB Shield, Channel B Hi/Low, a Z Shield and Channel Z Hi/Low. The Encoder power has a +5 V node, Return, +15 V node and a Shield. The Exit power of the panel consist of +5 V, Return, +15 V, -/+ Return, -15 V, +24 V, +24 V Return and a EGND. It has an axis that can be linear or rotary. The 1746-HT has a drive enable and ESTOP that consists of +24 V, 2 RES. PB, RESET, STRING IN/OUT. The panel has a FAST I/O that consists of FAST IN. 1, +24 V, FAST IN. 2, +24 V, FAST IN. 3, Return, FAST Output. 1 functions.
