The Video Lens used on the CCTV Focus Head has a C-Mount interface. Therefore all CS-Mount cameras must use the included 5 mm spacer Because the available camera options constantly change in industry. The purpose of a focus-head is to “focus” Laser energy on to a work area for welding, brazing or soldering.

The CCTV Focus Heads (8-660-xx-xx) have adjustability features and also can be used with a Camera. Additionally, the Laser Operator can view the welding process in real-time. Generally, CCTV Focus Heads (8-660-xx-xx) shipped from AMADA WELD TECH are pre-adjusted for immediate use.

The scope of the adjustment procedure is to make the “Visual Focus” coincident with the “Laser Focus” such that both are focused at the same point on the workpiece.
